About the sport of Mountainboarding
Mountainboarding is also known as All-Terrain Boarding, Dirtboarding, Offroad Boarding, or Grass Boarding. It owes it´s history to snowboarding and skateboarding but with highly specialised boards being designed to be ridden over virtually any terrain it has grown into an action sport in its own right.

www.mountainboarding.uk.com is a joint project between Remolition and the ATBA-UK to promote the sport of mountainboarding and help beginners to get into it. The Getting Started section contains info about going to Mountainboard Centres to have a go, and Choosing the Right Board to help those who want to buy a board. The Learning The Basics section contains the 'how to' guides on Starting, Steering, and Stopping. The Joining The Community section has Photos, Videos, and Links into what's going in the world of mountainboarding.

About the ATBA-UK
The All Terrain Boarding Association (ATBA-UK) is the National Governing Body for Mountainboarding in the UK. It is a not-for-profit membership organisation run by a committee of volunteers who work hard to:
- encourage more people to get into mountainboarding
- create pathways for beginners to become involved in the mountainboarding community.
- deliver high-quality mountainboard competitions that anyone can enter.
- offer real benefits to its members.
- promote mountainboarding in a positive way.
- support Mountainboard Instructors to deliver high-quality training.
- liase with other organisations to create positive partnerships.
